Thanksgiving in Canberra
The Australian American Association - Canberra Division is pleased to invite you to experience a traditional Thanksgiving Feast...with an Australian twist. Join us for a taste of what many Americans at this time of year get nostalgic for, wherever they are in the world.
The whole family, friends and colleagues are invited to enjoy American inspired dishes enhanced with Aussie ingredients while learning about America's biggest holiday (yes, it's bigger than Christmas!). Find out about American traditions, have the opportunity to share what fills you with gratitude and watch the kiddies create festive Thanksgiving crafts. Parking on site is also included.
The Buffett will include traditional favourites like Turkey with stuffing, cranberry sauce, potatos, pumpkin pie…and more!
Project Gratitude
These have been a tough few years but there are still so many things to be thankful for! You can add to the feelgood nature of this event by submitting a message of gratitude and/or your own family's Thanksgiving traditions that we can share with others and/or let us know how to say ‘Happy Thanksgiving’ in your language!

In the spirit of giving, there will also be an opportunity to donate directly to local charity OzHarvest Canberra. Did you know, OzHarvest supports 70 other charities and to date has delivered 7.8M meals across Canberra to feed those in need?
Every dollar donated provides two meals!
