Thanksgiving in Canberra

The Australian American Association - Canberra Division is pleased to invite you to experience a traditional Thanksgiving Feast with our mates at the Canberra Services Club in Barton. Join us for a taste of what many Americans at this time of year get nostalgic for, wherever they are in the world. 

The whole family, friends and colleagues are invited! Enjoy American inspired dishes while learning about America's biggest holiday (did you know it's even bigger than Christmas?!). Find out about American traditions, share what fills you with gratitude and have a laugh or two with a great bunch of people. 

The whole family is welcome & there will be crafts to keep the little ones busy.

The meal will include traditional favourites like Turkey with stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, pumpkin pie…and more! If there's something you're really craving, let us know and we'll see what we can do.

There are so many things to be thankful for - add to the feelgood nature of this event by submitting a message of gratitude and/or your own family's Thanksgiving traditions that we can share with others on the night and/or let us know how to say ‘Happy Thanksgiving’ in your language!
