The 2024 Nathan Charles Long Lunch
Event description
Join us for the inaugural 2024 Nathan Charles Long Lunch, an exclusive fundraising event dedicated to supporting Australians living with cystic fibrosis. Held on November 21st at 2 Market St, Sydney, this intimate gathering in the heart of the city will feature Nathan Charles, former Australian Wallabies player and the only person with cystic fibrosis to compete in a contact sport at an elite level, as our keynote speaker. Nathan will share his incredible journey, offering insights into his life, the challenges he's faced, and the resilience required to thrive against the odds.
This exclusive event is limited to a select group of 50 attendees, ensuring a unique and personal experience. For $250 per person, guests will enjoy a delicious three-course meal paired with premium wines and beer over a four hour luncheon, all while contributing to a meaningful cause. Funds raised through Ticket Sales, Raffles, and an Auction, will go directly towards supporting initiatives that benefit those living with cystic fibrosis, making your participation not just memorable but impactful.
Funds raised from this event will be used to support vital advocacy work, ensuring that life-changing treatments and therapies are accessible and affordable to all people living with cystic fibrosis. Additionally, the funds will help administer research efforts aimed at increasing quality of life, finding a cure, and supporting the data registry, which maintains comprehensive data on Australians living with CF, demonstrating the impact of the disease and guiding future medical advancements.
As this is the first event of its kind, we hope to establish the Nathan Charles Long Lunch as an annual gathering. Nathan will focus on themes of adversity, resilience, and mental fortitude, providing valuable lessons and inspiration that resonate with both individuals and corporate audiences alike.Â
Don't miss this chance to be part of a special day filled with great food, compelling stories, and the shared goal of making a difference in the cystic fibrosis community.
