Third Annual Vision 2030 Solution Symposium: From Investments to Impact
Description
Third Annual Vision 2030 Solution Symposium:
From Investments to Impact
The next era of behavioral health in California is here. Billions of dollars in landmark initiatives are underway, with a renewed focus on transparency and accountability.
The question we now must answer: how do we ensure these investments translate into positive outcomes for Californians?
Introducing the Steinberg Institute’s third annual Vision 2030 Solution Symposium: From Investments to Impact. This year’s agenda brings this next chapter into focus – discussing some of the most major initiatives and transformations in our behavioral health systems to determine what it will take to deliver on the promises made. Example topics will include:
How key behavioral health investments are positioned to address the homelessness crisis facing our state
What it will take to create a more connected system of care across Medi-Cal managed care, county behavioral health, and private insurers
Where parity implementation and accountability stand today and what California can do to ensure parity is realized in practice
How California’s sometimes conflicting criminal justice initiatives can work together to prioritize care over criminalization
Join hundreds of the state’s most influential leaders across sectors and disciplines for a full day of conversations, surfacing strategies to turn California’s investments into impact.

Since its founding, the Steinberg Institute has been conducting immersive workshops for educators, providers, and organizational leadership to arm them with the tools to effectively engage in California’s policy and budget processes.
This year, we're bringing that experience to the Symposium.
Join us the afternoon before the Symposium for a 3-hour Advocacy 101 Workshop, where you'll learn how to shape policy, navigate budgets, and make your voice heard in California's political system. It's ideal for clinicians, providers, individuals with lived experience, and executives looking to deliver policy impact for their community or cause.
Monday, February 8th, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Tsakopoulos Library Galleria, Sacramento, CA 95814
Light refreshments will be provided
Workshop spots are limited to 75 people. To purchase a ticket to the Advocacy 101 session, select the “Symposium + Advocacy 101 Workshop” combo ticket. If you plan to attend the Symposium only and not the Advocacy 101 session the day before, select the Symposium ticket.
