Kaikōura 2025-The 28th Annual New Zealand Phylogenomics Meeting is a conference at the interface of mathematics, computer science, statistics, and biology in the study of phylogenetics, genome analysis and molecular evolution. In 2025, the meeting will again be held In Kaikōura. The venue (Sudima Kaikōura) will be available Tuesday morning (11 February) through to Friday midday (14 February). Talks will start Tuesday morning and end around lunchtime on Friday.

We welcome your expression of interest to attend, please request a (FREE) ticket to do so. Closer to the date, paid tickets for the event will be offered to those who have expressed interest. Academic tickets will be available for $450 and Student tickets for $300, with those from UC paying by an internal transfer.

Please note that the conference is being held in peak holiday season, so you should book accommodation in Kaikoura well in advance of the meeting. There are numerous motels and other accommodation options in Kaikoura, as well as a limited number of rooms at Sudima Kaikōura (available at a discounted rate with the booking code UNIC2025, book online with the hotel directly).
