This workshop will introduce participants to various 3D software available and basic 3D CAD modeling processing. At the end the participants will have designed, and 3D printed a keyring. Perfect for beginners with very little 3D design knowledge, looking for a basic introduction.

You will learn the following concepts:

Which 3D CAD software best suits your needs
3D CAD design process
Slicing design for 3D printing
3D printing your design

IMPORTANT INFO

Participants are asked to bring their own laptop to download and use the CAD software. If you are unable to bring your own device please advise at the time of booking, there are a limited number of computers available to use during the sessions.

All sessions take place on-site at Makerspace Adelaide with direct instruction from an experienced instructor, cost is inclusive of all materials.
