The 420 Sound meets Little Lion Sound & Dougy
Event description
Little Lion Sound from Geneva touches down in Byron Bay, joined by the legendary Dougy out of France, for a serious reggae and dancehall session alongside The 420 Sound and crew
Hailing from Geneva, Little Lion Sound stands as one of Europe’s most respected reggae and dancehall powerhouses. With over a decade of sound system culture behind them, they’ve cemented their name across the continent through powerful dubplates, energetic stage presence, and a signature blend of foundation reggae, modern dancehall, and bass-heavy selections. Known for shelling stages at top European festivals and clubs, the crew represents true international sound system energy, keeping the culture authentic while pushing it forward.
Dougy – The Return of the Raggamuffin A true pioneer of Byron Bay's reggae movement, Dougy returns to Australia with pure raggamuffin energy. As one of the original founders of the legendary Reggae Nights more than a decade ago, he helped build the foundation for the sound system culture we know today in the Northern Rivers.
Now, after years shelling dances across Europe and spreading reggae and dancehall vibes worldwide, Dougy is back — and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome him home to our playground. Expect deep roots, dancehall pressure, and pure veteran energy in the dance!
We take over the Arts Factory Garden Bar in Byron Bay on December 4th for this one. On the lineup: Little Lion Sound from Geneva, the legendary Dougy from France, Roots Recycled featuring Papa Bitcho, Twan and Mighty Mocci, SK Simeon, and Oren Selecta. A full night of reggae, dancehall, and pure sound system vibes.
