Join us to acknowledge, remember, and celebrate the excellence that crosses our city's stages. Expect a night of performances, awards, and mingling in a new venue for the awards: Meat Market.
You can expect a new format for the awards, with awards happening artform by artform in a separate space to a main bar. Pick and choose what art forms you'd like to watch and spend the rest of the night chatting with friends old and new.

- What are the Green Room awards?
The Green Room Awards is a selection of awards across eight art forms which are decided upon by a panel of practitioners within that art form. We present awards across Cabaret, Contemporary & Experimental Performance, Dance, Independent Musical Theatre, Commercial Musical Theatre, Independent Theatre, Theatre Companies, and Opera.
- What's the dress code?
Whatever makes you feel great!
- Do I get a free ticket if I'm nominated?
Yes, we've allocated one complimentary ticket for every nomination. Please contact your producer who'll have received correspondence detailing how to book in a complimentary nominee ticket.
- What's a Pay What You Can Ticket?
A Pay What You Can Ticket means that you can choose how much money you spend on your ticket. We recognise that different people are in different financial circumstances, so some folks who may have full-time stable work may choose to pay more, while an unwaged attendee may choose to pay the minimum cost of $5. This means that the event is more accessible for folks across our community, and enables folks who can to help subsidise the cost of the event.
- What's the format of the awards night?
After listening to feedback from attendees of previous ceremonies, we're committed to trying out a new way of hosting the awards this year. We're still confirming some of the final details, but you can expect that you'll be able to more easily move between the awards ceremonies (split into artforms) and a separate lounge to mingle with colleagues, peers, and friends.

- Where can I see the nominations?
The most up to date list of nominees for the evening can be found on our website.
- What if I can't make it to the ceremony in person?
We'll be live streaming the entire ceremony to our Facebook and Instagram pages. Follow along on the night on your favourite social network!

Formalities
The ceremony will be divided into smaller ceremonies based on art forms, and held in a breakout space. Pick and choose which awards you'd like to attend and spend the rest of the night mingling in Meat Market's stunning Cobblestone Pavilion
