Accounting Workshop on Experiments (AWE) seeks to promote and develop accounting research using experiments. AWE supports and nurtures the community of scholars using experiments in accounting research, primarily in Australia and New Zealand, through sharing of knowledge and experience.Â
The primary activity is the annual Accounting Workshop on Experiments, including the doctoral forum. The forum provides doctoral students with the opportunity to participate in a master class, as well as a mentoring session with experienced experimentalists.

Doctoral Forum: Pre-WorkshopÂ
Date -Â Thursday 2 May 2024Â
Time -Â 1.00pm - 5.30pm
Details - An invitation-only dedicated Doctoral Forum will occur on Thursday 2 May 2024.  The forum provides doctoral students with the opportunity to participate in a master class conducted by Associate Professor Kristian Rotaru from Monash University, as well as a mentoring session with experienced experimentalists to receive feedback on their experimental materials or preliminary results from an experiment already conducted.Â
Registration fee:Â
- $100 for academic faculty members who register by Friday 5 April 2024, $120 there after,Â
- $50 for doctoral students, free when their supervisors also register for the main conference. Please email Hien Hoang, UNSW hien.hoang@unsw.edu.au with your principal supervisor's name once they have registered to access the discounted ticket registration rate.Â
- Registrations close by Monday 15 April 2024 or unless sold out prior.
