"Come Together": The 7th (Almost!) Annual Great Adelaide Ukulele Picnic
Event description
The Great Adelaide Ukulele Picnic is SA's biggest free community ukulele event, with uke groups from around the state coming together for a day of strumming, food and fun!
Even if you have never picked up a uke, come along to enjoy a day of music in a picnic atmosphere. Food and ukulele vendor stalls will be on site.
The audience is encouraged to either strum or sing along.
We'll also have lots of giveaways and a few surprises on the day so grab your friends and make a day of it! Bring a picnic rug, some drink and nibbles, a hat, your uke (!) and a whole lotta heart xox
All attendees will require a FREE "General Admission", available here.
- Upon arrival, volunteers will scan your tickets, and issue a wristband. This ensures all attendees have been recorded. Each wristband is numbered, and this doubles as your entry into the lucky door prize draw(s).
- If you do not register for a ticket prior to arriving on the day, you may experience delays and will need to manually register at the entry gate.
- Attendees will also need to check-in using the MyGovSA app on their phone and a QR code at the event, or by entering their details on the manual check-in.
- These few steps will ensure the picnic meets the SA Govt requirements under the Covid Safe Plan.
If you do not register for a ticket prior to the event, you will be asked to sign in manually on the day (in addition to SA Govt check-in requirements) and may experience delays. You may also miss out on door prize entry if wristband supplies run out.
In addition to your free ticket, you may also purchase:
- OPTION A: Ukelaide! Membership*, which includes the following:
- a vinyl sticker + a limited edition badge + AGM voting rights.
- membership for both 2020-21 AND 2021-22 financial years.
- access to member-only discounts.
- OPTION B: A printed and bound copy of the "7th Picnic" Songbook.

If purchased, you can collect these additional items at the entry gate on March 28, or select the postage option for an extra $5 (please allow 5-7 business days for delivery).

If you select more than one membership purchase, we will contact you post-purchase for the information required to register each member. (Each individual can only hold one membership).
Social distancing regulations and contingencies will be in place - please respect all requests from Covid Marshalls on the day.
Please note no pegs are to be used when setting up tents/poles in St Helens Park. Sand or water weights work well as an alternative.
