SESSION ONE: The A-Z of Endo Symptoms
Endometriosis is a whole body disease. Therefore we can experience symptoms throughout our bodies. We are told that extrapelvic endometriosis is rare but the most common extrapelvic location is the bowel.
Welcome to the Sydney's first Endometriosis Circle hosted by Alexandra Mitchell from Invisible Iconic (Creator and Host of the Invisible Iconic Podcast, Founder and Host of Invisible Iconic Endo Circle, formerly working for the Disability Discrimination Commissioner and the President of the Australian Human Rights Commission, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Macquarie University, Natural Fertility and Health Solutions).
Join Alex monthly as she presents educational material collated with the permission of the Center for Endometriosis Care, Extrapelvic Not Rare and the Endometriosis Summit amongst other reputable sources to cut through the noise and share up to date, life saving information for those diagnosed with or suspecting endometriosis.
The two hour sessions will include an educational component as well as a general discussion and sharing circle. Nibbles are provided and attendees are encouraged to bring anything that will make them comfortable. Please be advised this is not a wheelchair friendly venue. If you would like to attend please let us know a week in advance so we can host that particular week's circle somewhere more accessible.
In this first session of the INVISIBLE ICONIC ENDO CIRCLE information is collated from reputable sources (Center for Endo Care, EPNR, Endo Summit) so that those who suspect endometriosis can learn about symptoms not limited to painful periods, infertility and painful sex.
