Explore the art abstract landscape painting. Learn from artist Colin Pennock whose distinctive abstract landscapes draw on his extensive knowledge of technique with textural applications from thick impasto to delicate glazing.
Colin will work initially with each participant’s own approach to painting guided by a work they bring in, and he will gradually introduce new methods. Colin creates a back and forth dynamic to help people to get out of their comfort zone and feel part of a group that are assisting rather than competing.
The hope is not so much a completed work but inspiration to achieve new work with new knowledge to direct and reinvigorate their painting practice.
Materials required: participants must bring one of their own works, preferred paint medium and brushes. CBFAC will supply canvas.
Open to adults (participants must by 16 years or older).
