The Academy for Enterprising Girls at Cranbrook

As part of our transition to coeducation, we are very excited to offer an opportunity for our prospective female students to participate in the Academy for Enterprising Girls workshop, hosted at Cranbrook school on 5 April 2024.

The Academy for Enterprising Girls is for girls who want to make a positive change in the world through business. It’s designed to give young women the mindset, skillset and toolset to become a Girl Founder! The workshop is delivered by Young Change Agents as part of the Academy for young women ages 10 – 18 who are excited about the opportunity to make a real difference in their community.

In this workshop students will learn how to identify problems and then develop and test solutions. They’ll bring these solutions to life in the form of a social enterprise. This is a chance to develop skills and create their own business idea, and even build a prototype of your idea.

Girls are invited to attend the workshop for free on 5 April 2024 from 9am – 3pm and are welcome to invite a friend as well, although places are limited. This is a great opportunity for your daughter to work with other girls enrolled or interested in attending Cranbrook in 2026, as well as Cranbrook teachers who will also be participating in the workshop. You will also get to know your way around the campus.
