Following our launch event in August, we couldn't be more thrilled to continue the series with you.

So here we are, ready to bring you an expanded version of The Accidental...Poet. With four deliciously curated workshops in the series, we look forward to taking you on a journey where words, wine, and curiosity come together from an arts therapy perspective.

What to expect

Guided creative experience: Through curated prompts and reflective exercises, explore and engage with words in a playful and curious way, and leave with a piece of writing that speaks to your poetic heart.
Something new each time: Each workshop brings fresh prompts and ideas, gradually building on the creative momentum. Join us for any one session or attend all four — there’s always something new to explore.
No artistic experience needed: You don't need to be an artist or writer, as the focus is on the creative process rather than artistic outcome. Come with an open mind. This a judgement-free zone!
Better with company: Bring a partner, friend, or come ready to meet someone new.
All materials included: No need to bring anything, unless you have a favourite pen you really want to use.
Good vibes: Enjoy vinyl tunes and tasty wines poured by Barrique throughout the evening, available for purchase by the glass.
Entry: $20 when you pre-book online by Thursday 5 November, $25 at the door.

Limited spots available. Booking ahead helps us prepare for the event and lets us know to save you a seat at the table. If online bookings have closed, walk-ins are always welcome – pop in on the night and if there’s a spot available, it’s yours!

About the event

Presented by Registered Arts Therapist Amanda Ng of Beyond Valleys Art Therapy, in collaboration with Barrique Wine Store, The Accidental is a new kind of creative night out in Healesville. Workshops are inspired by expressive arts therapy practices and invite connection and self-expression through an experiential, process-led approach. No pressure, no expectations – just a space to log off, enjoy a glass, and explore your creative side.
