The Adaptation Game @ Fawkner Park Melbourne - Citizen COP 2026

Fawkner Park Friends Social Games Night

Come along for an evening of games, food and new connections at the Fawkner Park Friends Social Games Night. Meet your neighbours, have some fun and connect with the people you may one day rely on during challenging times.

We’ll be playing The Adaptation Game (TAG), an engaging board game that helps communities explore how climate change could affect their neighbourhood over the next decade. Through a fun and interactive simulation, discover how your community could prepare for and respond to flooding, heatwaves, storms and other climate impacts.

Come along, play, share ideas and get to know your neighbours while exploring how we can build a more connected, prepared and resilient community.

Proudly supported by the City of Port Phillip and City of Melbourne.

This is a public session by the City of Melbourne and the City of Port Phillips.

About Citizen COP Australia

Citizen COP Australia is a decentralised, people-powered movement running alongside the global COPs in 2026. Enabled by People For Nature, but intentionally independent and distributed, Citizen COP invites communities, organisations, schools, businesses, artists, and local groups across Australia to host their own events during the COP period. Rather than a single central event, Citizen COP is a nationwide network of conversations, workshops, and actions that bring global climate and nature discussions into local communities. It connects people to science, solutions, and each other, strengthening civic engagement and ensuring citizen voices contribute to Australia’s climate and nature conversations.
