AKF Australia connects Australia and New Zealand with AKF’s global development work and creates a bridge between the land Down Under and communities in need across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life, promote pluralism, and nurture self-reliance in disadvantaged and marginalised communities, with a commitment to advance agriculture and food security, foster early childhood development and quality education, improve health and nutrition, progress economic inclusion and strengthen civil society.

The purpose of the annual AKF Gala is to raise awareness about the impact of AKF’s work globally as well as to raise funds to support AKF’s endeavours towards improving the quality of life of some of the most marginalised and hard-to-reach communities around the world.
