The Album Show - Born In The USA 40th Anniversary

Sydney based collective The Album Show’s Classic Artist series announces the 40th Anniversary performance of the iconic 1984 Bruce Springsteen album ‘Born In The USA’.

Lead by Michael Carpenter (guitar and vocals) as part of a 5 piece band, including Amy Vee (guitar and vocals), Jy-Perry Banks (pedal steel), Rod Auld (bass and vocals) and Russell Crawford (drums), the ensemble will play the album in its entirety, plus selected B sides from the period, (and the odd extra Springsteen hit). 

With Carpenter weaving stories of the album’s creation, providing a context and timeline, the show will be a compelling, new perspective on this breakthrough body of work by Springsteen – one of the most enduring and compelling artists of the last 50 years.
