The Alcoholic Tea Company Tasting Event

Hello there! 

My name is Bex and I recently started a social enterprise business - The Alcoholic Tea Co. which will sell canned alcoholic teas in a variety of flavours, alongside supporting local charities by donating 50% of all profits. I would love your assistance in tasting my current alcoholic tea flavours and helping me develop the flavours and choose the top two which will go into production in 2025! 

The teas are made by cold-brewing loose-leaf tea (from McIvers and Calmer Chai) for 12 hours before the addition of locally sourced spirits (Killik Distillery, Darling Distillery, White Possum and more). 

Come and join me at the beautiful Tin Pot Cafe on Tuesday 3rd December at 6:30pm to taste and rank my current flavours! Please arrive before 7pm for the introduction/toast. There will be a cheese board and snacks provided alongside four different flavours of alcoholic teas to try (both carbonated and non-carbonated versions). 

Non-alcoholic tea will also be available alongside other non-alcoholic/alcoholic drinks available to purchase from the bar, including coffees. In the interests of safe consumption of alcohol and treading lighter on the planet, please use public transport if you're able to (Tin Pot cafe is accessible via the 11 tram, 504 bus or a 10 minute walk from Rushall Station).

This event is held on Wurundjeri land. I would like to pay my respects to elders past and present, and honour their deep, ongoing connection to country.

Accessibility Information:
-wheelchair accessible entrance (unfortunately the toilet is difficult to access by wheelchair so I would recommend using Edinburgh Gardens public toilet which is close by)
-the venue will be quite noisy and full once all guests have arrived - there will be some tables/chairs outside if you need a break from the hustle and bustle (you can let me or Iain (Tin Pot Manager, who will be at the bar) know if the music is too loud
-please let me know when purchasing your ticket if you have any other accessibility requirements and I will make sure I accommodate these wherever I can

-$1 from every ticket will be donated to the Palestine Emergency Appeal (through Aus Relief). There are also a limited number of reduced price tickets available for those who aren't in a financial position to pay full price.
