APR 4 yeas | Thinking in the trenches: Interfaces of Scholarship and Activism
Event description
APR turns 4! 🎉
We're thrilled to celebrate our journey so far with our community. But amidst the festivities, we want to highlight what is most important for us - the people in Melbourne and beyond fighting for social change!
Join us for a discussion on scholar activism, where we'll welcome friends from Catalyst and other initiatives to share their insights.
"Thinking in the trenches: interfaces of scholarship and activism", APR in conversation with Willow Hutton, Prya Kunjan, and Crystal Legacy.
This event is just a taste of what comes next that weekend —a larger initiative called the Catalyst Fiesta, a fundraising gathering happening on May 17-18. Expect rich conversations, interactive workshops, soulful music, and more. Keep an eye on the Catalyst website/Instagram for updates - stay after our event for bands, DJs, and more (7 pm)!
In the spirit of community support, this marks our first 'pay what you can' event. All proceeds will go directly to Catalyst. We want to do our part and we count on our community to show up and help us support this space. However, don't worry if you can't contribute financially— your presence matters, so come along!
If you want to donate different things (your time, food, etc) - please get in contact.
Let's come together to celebrate our journey and strengthen the bonds that make our community thrive. See you at the party!
