What do you get when five musicians from five countries join forces in Sydney? The Alternative Service: a punchy, playful alt rock band bringing new life to the best tracks of the '90s and '00s.

Fronted by a powerhouse female vocalist and backed by dual electric guitars, bass, and drums, we cover everything from Audioslave to Yeah Yeah Yeahs. It’s loud, it’s nostalgic, and it’s way too much fun.

Our live shows are all about good energy, great tunes, and the kind of musical chemistry you can’t fake. Whether you were raised on grunge or just love a sweaty singalong, we’ve got you covered.

Getting to The PBC! Access to the club and main stage is via 12 stairs at the front of the venue. We are not wheelchair accessible currently but we are working on it! There is free, untimed parking on the avenue and Brighton Street and drop off / pick up is available via our driveway.

Access to the green room / downstairs stage is via 15 stairs down onto the ground level. If you have special access needs please email or call us ahead of time and we will do our best to plan with you and help you into the club.
