Event description

The Anchorage Retreat for Pastoral Supervisors 2024

Michael Paterson needs little introduction to most Pastoral Supervisors in Australia and the United Kingdom.

Join Michael and The Anchorage Collective for this truly brilliant opportunity!

Ticket price includes:

  •  A PD retreat with international author,  speaker, pastoral supervisor and trainer Rev Dr Michael Paterson.  Beginning with an evening session on the 20th May, continuing with morning and afternoon sessions on the 21st May, and concluding with morning sessions and lunch on the 22nd May.
  •  This retreat is designed for supervisors and supervisors-in-training, offering 10 PD hours in supervision through reflection, connection, and restoration. The retreat will offer time apart to reflect on our identity in God, ourselves as supervisors, and our practice with supervisee's.
  •  The venue is the beautiful 4.3-star Sebel Mandurah, overlooking the water.
  • A substantive food package is included:  a light evening meal Day 1, premium lunch, morning and afternoon tea, and a full evening dinner on Day 2, and morning tea and lunch on Day 3.

Retreat ticket price is $664 plus Humanitix booking fee payable up front, or you can choose to initially make a deposit of $100 plus booking fee to secure your place. We have chosen Humanitix as our ticketing platform for The Anchorage due to their investment of a portion of booking fees in ethical charitable causes. An invoice for balance of payment will be sent separately in April 2024 with full payment due by May 1st 2024.

Ticket does not include accommodation, but discounted rooms will be available at The Sebel for registrants (details to follow soon), and there is a wide range of alternative accommodation options available in the local area. It is also an easy rail commute from Perth, and we are looking at shuttle trips from the station to the venue for people who choose to travel to Mandurah by train.

We are very excited to offer the quality of professional development, restoration, collegiate interaction, and connection this event will provide. For any further information about this event, please get in touch with us through the "contact host" button, or email monica@anchorage.org.au
