Techno all night long, moving through psy tech, driving techno, hard bounce, hard techno / neo-rave, and raw techno with the energy building and morphing as the night unfolds.
After a successful NYE rave, we’re bringing you a Venom club night featuring techno across multiple styles from local talent.

A neophyte disciple of bass, he fell fast for the low rumble and psychedelic textures of what he and his friends call mushroom techno. Guided by strong musical intuition, his sets form a dynamic wall of sound, seamlessly blending tracks into unions they can’t escape, counselling included. Phat beat his way. Techno all day. No Way Jose.

Narcotica
Narcotica is a rising force in the world of peak-time techno and hardhouse, hailing from New Zealand. Though relatively new to the scene, Narcotica has quickly carved out her own distinctive style, blending driving rhythms with powerful, hypnotic energy. Known for her precision behind the decks, she crafts seamless sets that captivate and command the dance floor from start to finish. Whether it’s the pounding basslines of techno or the raw intensity of hardhouse, Narcotica has a unique ability to create an unforgettable atmosphere that keeps the crowd moving. With a growing reputation and an ear for the underground, she’s poised to make waves in the dance music scene. If you’re looking for a set that ignites the night, Narcotica is the DJ to watch.
Dr. Dash
Dr. Dash brings a new energy to Wellingtons techno scene. Prescribing fast paced, high intensity sounds straight from some of Europe’s best up-and-coming hard techno, neo-rave and hard bounce producers. Get ready for Dr Dash’s club therapy at the Antidote, bringing together some of Wellingtons best underground techno DJs.
Malware
Introducing Malware, a Wellington-based DJ who brings her signature dark sound that will pull you deep into a trance. Look forward to heavy bass, big drops and an energy that will leave you a little scared. Emerging in 2025, her presence is already spreading across the motu, with performances for Jungle Juice, RadioActive, HiViz Jamz, Somebody Loves You, Kult Events, Basstopia and Venom in Wellington, Elektrophoria afterparty in Tauranga, Arkadien Festival and Darxyde in Hawke’s Bay, Hardphoria in Auckland, plus a string of private events. Malware’s sets build in intensity until you’re fully immersed, pulled deeper by pounding rhythms and a mesmeric flow. She creates powerful atmospheres that are hypnotising and a little dangerous. Once she gets into the system, there’s no escape (not that you’ll want one).
Goldie
With over 2 decades behind the decks, Goldie is a true veteran of the Techno and Hard Dance scene. Known for his seamless, technical mixing, and unique style, Goldie doesn’t just play tracks—he weaponizes them, driving crowds into a frenzy with pounding baselines and surgical transitions. A dedicated craftsman both on stage and in the studio, he’s no stranger to production, shaping tracks with the same intensity and detail that define his DJ sets. Goldie brings experience, passion, and a relentless commitment to the sounds of the underground.
