Innovators, entrepreneurs and founders encounter high levels of stress and anxiety, especially when taking on new challenges outside of their comfort zone. In startups, burnout is intense, with everyone experiencing the rollercoaster ride of emotions. Leaders feel stressed and exhausted as they stretch themselves thin, trying to get a great number of things done whilst juggling the expectations of customers, employees and investors. The pressure strains relationships, triggers conflict and festers negative thinking which leaks into team culture, drives disengagement and takes a toll on both mental and physical health.

About the presenter

Roy Kwan is the CEO and Founder of Coach Anywhere. He is a certified practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Timeline Therapy®, Hypnotherapy, and Rapid Change Technologies (RCT) Coaching, and he integrates these disciplines together to help high achievers and entrepreneurs overcome stress, anxiety, panic attacks, anger, depression, phobias and insomnia. For fun, Roy runs an online start-up selling custom-made furniture using augmented reality technology, he trains as a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and volunteers as an ethics teacher at his daughter’s primary school.
