Canberra Legacy and Army Headquarters Cocktail Party

In 2025 the Chief of Army has made it a high priority to support Canberra Legacy through raising funds and drawing attention to their very important mission. The Legacy Club Canberra supports 750 Beneficiaries – widow(er)s, children and people living with a disability – in the Australian Capital Territory and Yass-Boorowa district. It provides practical support by offering ongoing personal contact, understanding, peer support, social inclusion, welfare and financial assistance where necessary, advocacy and information in relation to entitlements. The work of Legacy is funded by donations and fundraising, Army Headquarters will support Canberra Legacy through the conduct of social events which will raise funds, bring the Defence and business communities together, and provide awareness and support to the work of Canberra Legacy.
