If you’re not a confident leader, you may keep defaulting back into patterns like people pleasing, perfectionism, avoiding conflict, or downplaying tough conversations. Add in poor time management, a reluctance to delegate, or struggles to deal with staff who push back, and these patterns quickly erode trust and sabotage your leadership (not to mention your quality of life and your sanity).
If you don’t start using the right tools and strategies, your staff will walk all over you, conversations will turn into combat and your sleep, your relationships and your health will suffer. Your staff will also start to prioritise the wrong things which can damage your retention, bottom line and your reputation.
So, before you start dropping the ball, or before your good staff leave, or before you yourself, start eyeing the exit, consider this – what if you could simply get the right tools?
And what if they’re a LOT easier to use than you might think?
The Art of Confident Leadership is a full day of training for managers who want to start feeling more confident in their ability to lead the conversations that matter, effectively lead change, and proactively lead others.
You'll discover your leadership style
NOT to pigeon hole you, but to understand how it might be sabotaging you. You'll expose the blind spots that are compromising your ability to effectively communicate, motivate, clarify expectations and resolve issues. Once we identify them, we can remove them.
You'll get the push back formula
You'll get the four-step formula for managing ANY push back without starting a fight, and you'll learn how to use it. Our very own F.A.I.R. Approach will help you create emotionally intelligent allies instead of objectionable opponents.
You'll learn how to improve accountability
You'll get a process that helps you understand how your team thinks, feels, and behaves, which will help you drive change and promote accountability in a way that supports them and meets their needs. You'll get to try this on for yourself so you can see it from the inside out.
You'll trade sabotaging habits for better ones
Did you know that many of your habits and values are actually devaluing you and harming your leadership - without you even realising? You'll learn what they are and how to replace them with better, helpful ones that feel good, feel easy, and make effective, confident leadership easier. (And you STILL get to be a nice person in the process.)
You'll learn how to walk the walk
Let's face it, you're the one setting the bar for your team and if you're dodging the tricky stuff, taking on more than you should and generally keeping people happy instead of accountable, your team is going to follow suit. Until now! You're going to learn (without blame or judgement) which of your unintentional behaviours are sabotaging you, and how to swap them for much easier behaviours that help you lead better (without having to be mean in the process). By doing this, you'll automatically inspire the people around you to raise their own behaviour bar as well - and wouldn't that be a game changer?
You'll get free follow-up support
If you want it - you'll get a one-hour, confidential coaching session with your trainer so you can get help to better understand and implement the training tools. We can do this via Teams or Zoom, or even over the phone. This session is optional and complementary.
This training is limited to 16 participants and includes:
- Easy to understand leadership education and practical tools you can use straight away.
- Refreshments and lunch (in accordance with your dietary requirements)
- Workbook
Please email Leanne if you’d like to discuss having this training delivered exclusively for your team.
Feedback from past participants of this training:
“Mindblowing!” - Janet. L - Mandurah
“What I really valued about this training was that it came with strategies that I can actually use, not just the usual delivery of leadership stuff that sounds good but is completely unrealistic in a real-world sense. Thanks for breaking things down for me Leanne.” SP - Local Govt.
“I have been to more leadership training than I can count over the past 20 years, but I have never been to anything like this.” Rod Jenkins (Perth)
"I run my own business and found that I couldn't place expectations on my staff because no matter how I said it, I always managed to upset someone. This training was so helpful because I learned how to completely 180 my communication and raise the bar without raising people's emotions. If you are managing a team that's making you pull your hair out, you need to get along to this. The value far exceeds the ticket price". Jennifer. P. (Perth Cafe Owner)
"I was lucky enough to have my manager book me into the "Art of Confident Leadership training". It was a really well run course, with Leanne providing an amazing learning environment. It was ran at an excellent pace and well delivered. The subject matter was very relevant, and I am already using many aspects of the training on a daily basis. Would recommend this course to anyone wanting to take their leadership to the next level, thanks again Leanne." - Steve Wharton (TADWA)
“I don’t think my team will be the only ones thanking you, I reckon my wife will be sending you a Christmas card too!” Paul. W. (Busselton)
"As a manager, I found it really hard to give feedback to staff about their work because I didn't want to upset anyone, so I just filled in the gaps myself. Since doing this training, I have learned how to change that - and the benefits have been two-fold. My staff are stepping up and taking a lot more ownership of their work because I have learned how to give them really good feedback and the second benefit is that I have freed up a huge amount of time which means I'm able to get my own work done. This training has also had a massively positive impact on how I interact with my partner." - Amanda. C - NFP (Mandurah).
