Description

When was the last time you and your partner shared touch that was completely free from performance, expectation, or a finish line?

In our busy day-to-day lives, physical touch often becomes transactional—a quick hug in the kitchen, a shoulder squeeze, or touch that carries an implicit expectation of sex. Over time, this can trigger subtle performance anxiety and leave our nervous systems feeling guarded rather than relaxed.

Nestled in the tranquil sanctuary of The Wellspring in Warburton, join us for The Art of Conscious Touch—a 4-hour practical afternoon dedicated to slowing down, nervous system regulation, and exploring the profound relaxation of one-way touch.

What You Will Learn & Experience:

  • The Science of Somatic Touch: How non-demanding touch down-regulates the sympathetic nervous system (fight-or-flight) into deep parasympathetic rest.

  • Dynamic Consent & Boundaries: How to create absolute psychological safety using clear intentions, verbal check-ins, and celebrating boundaries without guilt.

  • Somatic Syncing & Co-Regulation: Simple heart-alignment and breathwork techniques to bring both of your nervous systems into the present moment.

  • Classic & Targeted Bodywork: Hands-on guidance in grounding, warm oil and full body massage techniques including tantric style Yoni & Lingam massage.

  • Dedicated Practice Lab: A quiet 2.5-hour structured session where each partner receives 60 minutes of dedicated care—giving without transaction, and receiving without needing to perform or reciprocate.

Your Space & Privacy:

Strictly Limited Container: Capped at 6 couples only to ensure a spacious, quiet, and sacred environment.

Complete Autonomy: All practical exercises (including genital/pelvic touch) are completely optional. Your comfort and emotional safety are the absolute priority.

Equipment Provided: Warm, low-stimulus room setup, oils, tea, and comprehensive take-home reference guides.

Equipment Self-Provided: A towel & throw/towel/sarong, robe (optional)

FAQs

  • Do I need prior experience with Tantra or massage to attend?

No prior experience is necessary. Our workshops are designed for beginners as well as those looking to deepen an existing practice. All techniques, frameworks, and boundary exercises will be explained and demonstrated step-by-step.

  • Is this a sexual workshop?

No. While we recognise sexual energy as a natural part of human vitality, the workshop environment is educational, non-explicit, and focused on conscious touch. The intention is learning and energy cultivation, not sexual gratification or performance.

  • Do I have to get naked?

No. You are always in full control of your clothing level. While some participants may choose to disrobe to their comfort level during bodywork sessions, staying partially or fully clothed (e.g., in light, comfortable wear or swimwear) is completely welcomed and respected.

  • My partner is hesitant or nervous. Is this suitable for us?

Yes. It is very common for one partner to feel more hesitant than the other. The workshop is structured progressively, starting with simple breathwork and communication exercises before moving into touch. Everything is self-paced, and there is zero pressure to participate beyond your individual or joint comfort levels.

  • Will we have to interact or swap partners with other couples?

No. This workshop is strictly dedicated to you and your partner. You will work exclusively with each other throughout the entire session. There are no partner rotations or group touch exercises.

  • What if I feel uncomfortable or want to stop an exercise?

Your autonomy is paramount. You are encouraged to honor your boundaries at all times. You can pause, modify, or completely opt out of any exercise at any point—no explanation needed. Facilitators and assistants are present throughout the session to support you.

  • Can I come alone, or do I need a partner?

No, this is a partnered event. Individuals are encouraged to bring a partner, or attend without participating.

  • Is this workshop LGBTQIA+ inclusive?

Yes. Our workshops are inclusive and open to individuals of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and relationship structures. Touch practices are framed around human connection, consent, and energy, regardless of gender or orientation.

  • What should I wear?

Wear soft, comfortable, loose-fitting clothing (like yoga wear or sweatpants) that allows you to move and stretch easily. Bring a extra layer or warm socks, as body temperature can drop during relaxed bodywork.

  • What should I bring with me?
    • A refillable water bottle

    • Two large towels and a sarong/throw/extra towel (to cover yoga mats/cushions)

    • A journal and pen for reflections

    • Any personal massage oils if you have specific skin sensitivities (natural, unscented oils are provided)

  • How should I prepare before arriving?
    • Please shower and arrive with good personal hygiene.

    • Avoid heavy meals, alcohol, or mind-altering substances before the session.

    • Arrive 15 minutes early to settle in and ground yourself before we begin.

  • What if strong emotions come up during the massage?

Touch and deep energy work can sometimes release suppressed emotions, tears, or laughter. This is completely normal and welcomed. Our facilitators create a grounded, non-judgmental space, and support is always available if you feel overwhelmed.

  • What hygiene and health precautions are in place?

We maintain a high standard of cleanliness. All equipment and mats are sanitised between sessions. If you are feeling unwell or have skin infections, open wounds, or contagious conditions, we ask that you reschedule your attendance. Safe sex practices are encouraged. Gloves will be provided.
