Step into the world of professional dance photography with Juan Carlos Osma, professional ballet dancer, photographer and artist.

This intimate, hands-on masterclass offers a rare opportunity to photograph two professional West Australian Ballet dancers - one male and one female - while learning directly from Juan Carlos and exploring his approach to creating compelling dance imagery.

Go beyond simply photographing movement and discover how to work with light, form, expression, composition and timing to create powerful black-and-white photographs that capture the artistry and emotion of dance.

In collaboration with Canon, the experience will also give participants the opportunity to explore and photograph with selected Canon equipment, allowing you to experiment with different cameras and lenses during the session.

With only 12 photographers in attendance, this is designed to be an intimate experience where you can photograph, experiment, ask questions and receive guidance throughout the session.
