An afternoon to pause, breathe, connect, renew, release and nourish.

Join us for a beautiful afternoon of deep rest, breath, movement, creativity and connection at Kohimarama Yacht Club, overlooking the beautiful waterfront of Mission Bay.

This is an invitation to slow down, step away from the busyness of everyday life and create space to breathe, move, explore, release and simply be. Through meditation, creative expression, Hanna Somatics, breathwork and restorative yoga, we’ll move gently through an afternoon of practices designed to help you reconnect, unwind and feel nourished.

A gentle arrival practice to settle into the space, connect with one another and create a sense of belonging as we begin our afternoon together.

🌊 Guided Beach Walk Meditation
A grounding experience by the sea, inviting you to slow your pace, connect with nature and become present through mindful walking and breath.

🎨 Creative Art Experience
A space for creativity, self-expression and reflection, allowing you to explore and create freely.

🌱 Intro To Hanna Somatics:
Gentle, slow movements which enhance awareness of your body, release tension and holding patterns and calms the nervous system so you can live with more ease and less pain.

🌬️ Mindfulness & Breathwork
Guided practices to quiet the mind, deepen awareness and bring you into a more grounded relationship with your breath.

🕯️ Restorative Yin Yoga by Candlelight
A deeply nourishing practice incorporating essential oils, aromatherapy, myofascial release with massage balls, mindfulness and breathwork.

🍵 Refreshments & Herbal Tea
Herbal tea, light refreshments and nourishing snacks to enjoy throughout the afternoon.

About Maria:

Maru Gutman is a qualified Vinyasa, Yin, Meditation and Pre & Postnatal Yoga teacher, and Hanna Somatics practitioner. After many years of practicing yoga and meditation, she felt called to share these practices with others. She is passionate about creating safe and supportive spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and nurture their nervous system and overall wellbeing through conscious movement, breath, meditation and somatic practices. Her intention is to support each person’s journey with compassion, presence and a holistic approach, helping them move through life with greater ease and awareness.

About Claudia:

Claudia is an experienced Yoga and Pilates teacher offering nourishing Yoga events and retreats across Auckland and beyond. She offers Hatha, Restorative Yin and Restorative Yoga, mindfulness, breathwork, meditation and myofascial release, with a focus on creating ease and connection in the body. With her Pilates background, she has experience supporting injury recovery and adapting practices to different needs, including pre- and post-natal Yoga and Pilates. As a qualified massage therapist, Claudia is passionate about incorporating aromatherapy and essential oils into her offerings. Her retreats focus on restorative practices such as self-massage, myofascial release, grounding and deep relaxation, creating space to slow down, reconnect and feel at ease.
