Playlist Creation: Organize your music into an ecstatic dance arc that captivates and engages your audience.

Recording Sets: Discover how to record your sets for promotion and future reference.
Marketing & Promotion: Learn strategies to market and promote yourself effectively to the global community, expanding your reach and influence as an Ecstatic Dance DJ.

What to Expect

This workshop introduces you to techniques developed over 15 years of Ecstatic Dance DJing. You’ll engage in hands-on sessions designed to practice and refine your skills. By the end, you'll be prepared to create and perform transformational dance experiences.

Schedule

Saturday: 10 AM to 7 PM (with a one-hour lunch break)
Sunday: 2 PM to 7 PM

Additionally, we are collaborating with Ecstatic Dance San Rafael on Sunday from 11 AM to 1 PM, where students are invited to watch Temple Step play live. This experience is an excellent opportunity to integrate what you learned on Day One by observing a live performance.

Please note that tickets for the Ecstatic Dance San Rafael event are not provided as part of the workshop, but students are encouraged to attend.

Located near Fruitvale Station in East Oakland, The Howl is a spacious and creative venue perfect for this immersive workshop. With a full kitchen on-site, you’ll have the convenience of preparing lunch or snacks during breaks. This vibrant setting will serve as the ideal backdrop for deepening your DJing skills and embarking on a transformative journey into the art of Ecstatic Dance DJing.

About the Facilitator

Temple Step is an internationally renowned music producer and DJ, with extensive performance experience across Australia, Bali, and the USA. A sought-after wellness facilitator and audio producer, Temple Step has collaborated with high-profile clients like Dr. Joe Dispenza. Specializing in music for Ecstatic Dance and conscious dance floors, he has been teaching Ecstatic Dance DJing globally for the past seven years. His dynamic sets and productions, featured at major festivals and Ecstatic Dance events, have earned him a prominent place in the wellness and dance communities.
