A 1-day in person workshop for individuals who struggle with conflict.

A deep dive into your inner experience of conflict - a space for the parts of you that want to be seen to step forward and learn how to express their needs in relationship.

When we hear the word conflict, it is common to feel aversion, anxiety, exhaustion, or even dread. In this workshop, we are going to explore ways to engage in conflict that are generative, meaningful, intimacy-building, beautiful, and maybe even FUN.

We aren’t wrong or bad for having negative associations with conflict - we developed these associations because of real experiences we had where conflict led to extreme disregulation and fractures in belonging.

These imprints come directly from lived experiences navigating conflict in a society that teaches us to rely on domination and punishment rather than generative, vulnerable discussion to resolve dissonance or conflict.

Because of this, most of us are still learning to build healthy, resilient relationships where we can unlock conflict’s transformative potential.

In this 1-day deep dive, you will:

Learn about your default conflict response style so you can navigate conflict in a new way
Explore uninhibited self expression using parts work to free yourself from shame and constriction
Develop more nervous system resilience within conflict to stay present through challenge
Practice regaining your sense of choice when activated so you can expand your capacity to respond rather than react
Debunk your inherited beliefs around conflict to access its healing potential

Sliding Scale Guidance:

A sliding scale is an equity-based payment structure where the participant’s financial situation informs the rate they pay for a service.

The bullet points listed below are just examples to help guide your self-assessment. I trust you to factor in these considerations and choose the level that feels right for you at this moment.

Choose a rate on the low end (range) of the sliding scale if you:

Do not have a financial safety net
Have large debt or student loans
Are Black, Indigenous, or otherwise systemically disadvantaged based on your identities

Choose a rate in the middle (range) of the sliding scale if you:

Can go out to eat without thinking about your finances
Have a salaried job with benefits
Have family that would financially support you if you needed it

Choose a rate on the high end (range) of the sliding scale if you:

Own property or other significant assets
Make over $100K per year
Never feel scared of not having enough

About the Facilitator:

Lux Gypsum is a community organizer, relational healer, and cultural visionary who believes that revolution happens at the level of relationship. With over 9 years of facilitation experience and dozens of trainings under their belt, Lux has cultivated a strong capacity to hold potent group containers for interpersonal skill-building and cultural transformation. Some of Lux’s politicized identities are white (Northern European ancestry), AFAB, non-binary, and queer. Lux has an ongoing practice of anti-racism work and is committed to uprooting internalized supremacy culture. They are also becoming more deeply trauma-informed through receiving training in Somatic Experiencing, a well known body-based modality for healing trauma. In addition to holding regular community workshops and events, Lux also serves the community as a Conflict Mediator, Relationship Coach, and Community Consultant, supporting individuals, couples, and groups to embody the world they long to live in.
