Welcome to The Art of Listening.
Biscotti's music club The Art of Listening returns with four sessions in March at the charming Keeper Brewing.
The Art of Listening is a live event series and evolving platform that brings people together to slow down, listen deeply, and connect through music.
The Art of Listening is a response to today’s culture of endless choice and background listening. By creating intentional spaces, it encourages presence, curiosity, and dialogue. These gatherings also support local artists, producers, and record store owners by giving audiences new ways to encounter their work outside of traditional loud or crowded settings.
Following it's Winter Series and In Conversation sessions in 2025, our intimate listening club will offer a Wednesday night musical rendezvous with owners and operators of four of Naarm / Melbourne's iconic record stores:
WEEK 1 (4th March) - Max Vegas from Alley Tunes
After moving from France, Max & Faboo took over Alley Tunes in 2007. Still active DJs with a dance & electronic focus.
WEEK 2 (11th March) - Paul and Renae from Paradise Records
Partners in life and music since their teens. Curators of a beloved Brunswick store with roots in independent and post-punk.
WEEK 3 (18th March) - Ari Rose from Plug Seven
DJ, sound engineer, musician, and store owner. Funk, soul, and world music specialist.
WEEK 4 (25th March) - Greg Molinaro from Hub 301
A lifelong record seller and DJ from Melbourne’s 1990s club scene. Dance & electronic specialist.
Following conversation & listening to track selections our guest will then Dj so stick around!
Doors 7:00pm - Starting 7:30pm

Details:
Keeper Brewing is located at 122 Weston St, Brunswick East VIC 3057. Take the Number 6 / Number 1 Tram to Weston St/Lygon St. The venue is a 2 minute walk from the tram stop along Weston St. There is limited street parking available on Weston St.
There will be booth and table seating and standing room.
The venue is located upstairs and is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
The bar & kitchen will be open
