Join Alexandra from Solaris Healing and Adriahn Frank, Remedial Massage Therapist, for a full day of practical, hands-on massage training at On Sacral Ground, South Perth.

Designed for beginners, wellness practitioners, and anyone wishing to develop greater confidence with therapeutic touch, this small-group workshop combines practical technique, body awareness and supervised practice in a relaxed and supportive environment.

With limited participant numbers, you will have plenty of opportunity to practice, ask questions and receive individual guidance throughout the day.

🌸 Morning Session — Full-Body Relaxation Massage

During the morning, you will learn a flowing full-body relaxation massage sequence that you can confidently practice again after the workshop.

We will explore:

-Foundational relaxation massage techniques

-Safe and comfortable positioning of the body

-Pressure, rhythm and flow

-Practitioner posture and body mechanics

-Creating a relaxing and nurturing massage experience

-Smooth transitions between different areas of the body

-Giving and receiving massage through supervised partner practice

🌸Afternoon Session — Introduction to Deep Tissue Techniques

In the afternoon, we will explore a selection of introductory deep tissue techniques and how to work with greater depth and intention while maintaining safe body mechanics and appropriate pressure.

You will learn:

-Endangerment sites, where to avoid and where to use less pressure

-The major muscles which are safe to work into with deep pressure (and feel great to be released!)

-Foundational deep tissue techniques

-How to apply deeper pressure safely and progressively

-Effective use of the hands, forearms and body weight

-Approaches for working with areas of muscular tension

-The difference between relaxation massage and deeper therapeutic touch

-How to adapt pressure and technique to the person receiving the massage

Practical application through supervised hands-on practice

Who Is This Workshop For?

This training is suitable for:

-Complete beginners

-Yoga, healing and wellness practitioners

-People wanting to develop confidence with massage and therapeutic touch

-Those wishing to learn practical techniques for use with friends and family

-Practitioners wanting to expand their existing hands-on skills

No previous massage experience is required.

Our intention is to create an intimate and encouraging learning environment where you can practice without pressure, develop confidence in your hands, ask questions and connect with like-minded people.

Certificate

Participants who complete the full training day will receive a Certificate of Completion.
