Natalie Andrewson is an illustrator, comic artist, and Riso printmaker from North Carolina, currently living in Los Angeles. She creates intricate, narrative-driven work inspired by adventure, folklore, and the natural world.
She prints using a Riso machine, which gives her work a nostalgic, vibrant quality with fluorescent inks and a subtle texture that enhances their classic, storybook feel. She has worked in a variety of creative fields, including animation, publishing, and editorial illustration, and regularly presents her work at art and book festivals worldwide. She currently creates a new fantasy-themed Riso print each month for her subscription patrons.
Presented in partnership with Milktooth School of Art & Stories and North Metropolitan TAFE.
