$220 is for two people

CULTIVATE CONNECTION THROUGH PRESENCE, PLAY, CURIOSITY AND RELAXATION.

This workshop is for couples and friends alike. We will be exploring the nourishing art of touch, through simple partner yoga postures, playful trust and sensory exercises, acro therapeutic gestures and finishing with floor-based massage techniques, and guided relaxation.

Each partner will have the opportunity to give and receive. Together you will leave with a sequence of gestures to practice on each other at home or on your friends.

  • You do not need any previous experience in yoga or massage to join
  • This workshop is for partners of all kinds, please feel free to bring a friend, family member or romantic partner
  • Wear comfortable loose-fitting clothes - preferably long pants and long shirt
  • Please bring a yoga mat each, 1 pillow and 1 blanket.
  • All day parking on street, limited spots so come early to ensure you arrive on time. 

WHAT IS ZENTHAI?

Zen Thai has evolved to be widely recognised as a profound structural and energetic therapy. It combines the 'golden' moves from Thai massage, the body-lens from Zen Shiatsu and the precision from Osteopathy. A lot of the gestures have been inspired by martial arts, shifting the intention to healing. Zenthai incorporates elements of acupressure and deep muscle work through bodyweight mechanics. We help the receiver relax into their parasympathetic nervous system so blocked energy held in the body can be released naturally. It is an excellent compliment to both active lifestyles, and to lifestyles where one does not get enough movement. 

Join Natan as he guides you through techniques he uses in his own bodywork practice to alleviate the most common muscle aches and pains.

NOTE:

* This is an experiential class - note-taking won't be necessary and we will provide a video of our class sequence at finish.

* Dress in loose clothing and bring layers (givers will get warm/receivers will get cool!). No other materials necessary. Zenthai Bodywork is a practice done on mats on the floor with no oils. It’s also advised to be well-hydrated before arrival and to avoid eating a meal within 1 hour of class time.

* All levels welcome, no experience of yoga or bodywork necessary - but even those with experience can benefit from these foundational practices.

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATORS 

Natan is a movement artist from Belgium. From a young martial arts student, a circus enthusiast and later a dedicated yoga practitioner he travelled around the world to learn from various teachers and movements facilitators, eventually discovering a passion for the healing arts. Natan is a full time therapist with an established clinic in Sydney and facilitates workshops and trainings both in Australia and in Europe.
