Artist Talk by Adele Souster, after her Exhibition Opening at Flagstaff Gallery 

Adele Souster’s exhibition Journeys Past and Present at Flagstaff Gallery, brings together a collection of evocative oil paintings inspired by journeys throughout the New Zealand landscape over time. From the coastal beauty of Waiheke Island and views towards Rangitoto to the open countryside and snow-covered Desert Road, Souster captures places both familiar and remembered with a keen eye for light, atmosphere and sense of place.

Moving between coast, countryside and city, these works invite us to pause and reflect on the landscapes that shape our journeys — past, present and ongoing.

Join us beforehand - 5pm at the Gallery - for the exhibition opening. At 6pm, come across the road to Vic Road Wine Bar for the artist’s talk. We look forward to you joining us!
