As part of The Artist Place at Queens Park
Weaving on a Cardboard Loom with Pam Hutley
Participants will learn basic weaving techniques and create a small woven piece with an assortment of weavable materials including hand spun yarn and other fibres including silk ribbon and unspun wool locks.
Please bring along:
- Scissors (we will have some on hand)
- any small bits of yarn or ribbon you may want to incorporate
- Notebook and pen (for taking notes)
- All other supplies will be provided
This project is supported by Mackay Regional Council as part of the Mackay Waterfront Make Your Place Grant.

• All program attendees must be in good health prior to attending the session. If you feel unwell, please cancel your booking to enable another participant to attend. We will provide an 85% refund up to 24 hours prior to the workshop.
• Carefully consider your availability to attend the event BEFORE making your booking. Late cancellations - may mean a lost opportunity for another community member.
• Photography Permission: Please be aware that photographs of the workshop will be taken for documentation and may be posted on Facebook to advertise other events. Do not attend if you do not wish to be photographed.
