Discussion on the Voice to the Parliament (with Mandarin Interpreter / 附普通话翻译 / 附普通話翻譯)
Event description
North Sydney for the Voice, the Chinese Australian Forum, and Stanton Library are pleased to present a selection of works from artists Tim Johnson and Malera Bandjalan, Mitakoodi woman Kyra Kum-Sing. Their works, which will be exhibited from 17-19 August at Stanton Library, reflect the influences of culture and spirituality in our lives, and will set the scene for a thoughtful conversation about modern Australia.
On Saturday 19 August 12pm-1:30pm, join us for a community discussion about the Voice to Parliament: what it is, and what it means for us all. Facilitated by Tony Pang (VP of the Chinese Australian Forum), experts Dr Judy Tang and Jonathon Hunyor will unpack the meaning of the Voice and address questions that community members would like answered, whilst debunking common myths. Please register early as tickets are limited.
