When life gives you a due date,
you do what you gotta do!
It's 1989 and Jamie Kelly fills her idyllic existence with Young Talent Time, Take 40 Australia and anything Dance!! But when she is accused of cheating on an assignment, Jamie discovers that sometimes life can get in the way of your dreams.
The Assignment is a coming-of-age comedy, that celebrates life growing up in a small North Queensland town, in a very different time.
Featuring Emma Smith, Hunter Sams, Ava Saldana Lopez, Faith Taylor and Aiva Tyrie.
Local Gympie Chorus: Ella Shepherd, Caleb Denman, Tyler Large, Eloise Stevenson, Clara Mansfield, Eden Levey and Riley Hotham.

CONTENT WARNING: some strong language, adult themes, and some seriously high fringes.

The show runs for two hours and includes an interval.
