This is a new thought-provoking adaption of The Marriage of Figaro, a contemporary reimagining set in a nondescript Australian city with a family of cashed-up bogans and the hired help. The action for this opera buffa begins as farcical but descends into tragedy. Think Mozart meets Kath and Kim meets Promising Young Woman...

NIDA's Festival of Emerging Artists consists of 7 shows performed across 3 of NIDA's venues, the Reg Grundy Studio, the Studio Theatre and The Space. It is possible (and encouraged) for patrons to attend multiple shows consecutively, whether in the same venue or across multiple venues. The shows have been scheduled accordingly to accommodate for multiple viewings, e.g. 7pm, 8pm and 9pm shows in the evening, and 12pm, 1pm and 2pm shows for matinees. Please ensure you do not book more than one show at the same timeslot. To book tickets for the other Festival of Emerging Artists shows, click here.
