Description
To celebrate The Australian Ballet On Tour in Ballarat, you’re invited to participate in a dance workshop inspired by classical favourites and exciting new works.
These workshops are led by staff from The Australian Ballet Education and Outreach team and are designed to be inclusive and accessible to all, regardless of learning style or physical ability. No prior dance experience is required.
Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in and bring a water bottle.
Dancing Story
Explore creative games and storytelling through movement in this workshop for children aged 3-5. The dance workshop promotes movement skill development, working with others, sequencing and literacy, and costumes and props will be used to enrich the learning experience.
Please note children under the age of 18 will need to have a parent/guardian present for the duration of the workshop.
Accessibility and Support
The Australian Ballet’s teaching artists are experienced in adapting exercises for participants with varying mobility levels.
Please let us know in advance if you require a chair for all or part of the session so appropriate arrangements can be made.
Participants with any diagnosed medical conditions should take part in accordance with their doctor’s advice and are encouraged to speak with the teacher prior to the class about any concerns.
