Event description

On Thursday 8th June, 2023, our CEO, Maria O’Halloran interviews Laura Frankenschmidt of Lyttelton Lights and Monique Kaminski of Jeuneora. Both are Christchurch based Founders and CEO’s and have successfully built their businesses and brands with an authentically sustainable focus.

Monique founded Jeuneora in Christchurch in 2016 with one marine collagen product which is now known as Renew+. The range has since expanded to include additional marine collagen and plant-based functional supplements. After two years in development, Jeuneora Skincare was launched in 2021 - a dream come true for Monique. With over $30m in online sales to date, Monique is looking forward to the next part of Jeuneora's business journey which includes launching into select retailers locally and globally. Sustainability is extremely important to Jeuneora becoming B Corp Certified in 2016.

Laura is an entrepreneur and mum of three children. Lyttelton Lights began with very limited start up capital out of the confined spaces of her 100 year old cottage in Lyttelton. Laura has since lead the business to become one of New Zealand’s most highly regarded home fragrance brands.

With no prior business experience, Laura’s formular to success is built on the principles of social and environmental sustainability. Laura’s forward thinking approach and leadership skills embody an emerging generation of innovative entrepreneurs that create success by prioritising organizational culture and personal effectiveness.
