The Band Next Door & 2SER Present.... Pan-Pacific Grand Prix, Bad Drip & Layman
Event description
Yulli's favourite '2SER' is a not-for-profit radio station in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, broadcasting on the frequency 107.3 FM. It is operated by Sydney Educational Broadcasting Ltd, and co-funded by two Universities, University of Technology Sydney and Macquarie University.
Every Thursday night from 10pm on 2ser you'll find our good friend Cameron Menegoni playing the absolute best of Australian alternative and underground music. From the glitter of alternative pop to the dark underground and everything in between Cam has got you covered!
For one night only we have teamed up to bring you a showcase of some of the best local acts Sydney has to offer!
Pan-pacific grand prix - The indie rock project of singer, producer and song writer Ross Tipper. ( Check out his label - Evening Records!) members include Leigh Elphick, Helen Henry, Kevin Walsh & Yulli's favourite Ohioan - Charlie Finn. Think Wilco meets Pavement.
Bad Drip - a dynamic four-piece hailing from Gadigal Land in the inner west of Sydney, delivers fuzzy rock 'n' roll with colossal riffs. Their music, born from late nights, a plethora of beers, and an unwavering passion for loud tunes, captures the essence of raw energy and unapologetic soundscapes.
Layman -Cam, Sam, and Brock, stretched between Sydney's Inner West and the Blue Mountains. They're massaging their low-fi garage sound in between sipping on cold instant coffee, eating a cheap sausage roll, reading a novel you've started started 3 times already, stumbling home, and sinking that last sip of beer before the glassy takes it away.
The band was formed on stolen Gadigal land.
Get in early for Happy Hour from 8pm!
