THE BARBER CRUSADE IS BACK FOR 2026!
The Barber Crusade returns for another year, bringing together barbers from across New Zealand over 2 days of education, competition, and connection. What started as a local event has grown into a national gathering, featuring top educators, exciting barber battles, leading brands, great prizes, and unmatched networking opportunities. Whether you’re an apprentice, experienced barber, or industry supporter, this is where our community comes together.
This is more than a competition, The Barber Crusade is a movement! It’s about raising the standard of barbering, celebrating talent, and creating opportunities for the next generation. Educate. Battle. Unite.

We have live demos from some of New Zealand and Australia's leading educators. In an interactive up close and personal setting. You can ask all those questions you've been dying to know. whether it be to do with business, cutting techniques or tools. You don't want to miss the opportunity to learn from the best

Hands on education 1 - 4pm (Free to register)
We have just 18 spots available to cut in a group under the guidance of our educators. This is where you bring a model and do any cut you like and have our educators help you with your vision, your process, tips on techniques and anything else that will help you excel. This is a rare opportunity to amongst not only your peers learning together but be surrounded and coached by some amazing barbers.

Ara Showcase (no cost)
We are excited to host the students from Ara Institute of Canterbury's Barber students for their showcase again this year. As part of the course the Ara students must demonstrate a cut of their choice in front of friends, family and industry professionals. The Barber Crusade is the perfect place to introduce them to the industry where they can put their new skills on display and gain the attention of potential employers. Come and support our next generation of barbers!

Barber Battle
The Main event that brings all the energy! The Barber Battles. Watch Live battles by barbers young and old. The talent we have had has been next level and we cant wait to see what they produce this year!
