Venue: Newcastle Printmakers Workshop, 27 Popran Road, Adamstown

This course requires a minimum of 4 participants to proceed.

We often attend workshops & create prints that really open our minds to the printmaking process, but we don’t always know what the next step could or might be. We may feel that what we have created is okay but not yet complete or finished, or we might simply want to explore what else can be done with the plate.

In this workshop we will break the routine, embrace the unknown, and explore the possibilities. We will re-arrange, subvert, adjust or radically change the existing plate(s) or image(s). In most cases, you won’t actually need to change the plate, just change the way in which it is applied.

Discovering the unexpected in new and experimental ways to create new artworks can be challenging taking you outside your comfort zone.
