THE BEEZ

For decades residents of Berlin, Deta C. Rayner (accordion and vocals) and Rob Rayner (guitar and vocals) are now Australian residents. An accordion, a guitar, two voices. Gorgeously harmonic, bitingly satirical, eminently danceable, featuring a wealth of new genre-bending original material and the (exceedingly!) odd cover version from Ramstein to Rogers and Hammerstein. The Beez in one word? “Prost!"

From sensitive ballads like Ride On, Handouts in the Rain and Wisteria to crazy originals like I'm Woke, the Bum and Poo Song and My Corona, Phil is hard to define. While predominantly an entertainer, Phil is transitioning out of the loud, brash Sydney Irish music pub scene to a more relaxed style.
