Event description

Beer, food, and full bellies – we’re serving up a night to remember at the Bellbird Hotel.

Join us for a five-course tasting experience crafted by rising star Chef Roshan Tamang, with each course paired with a specially selected beer. Every ticket includes a Tooheys care package on arrival and a live presentation walking you through the flavours behind each dish and brew.

🍽 The Menu + Pairings

1. Hand-cut salt and pepper squid with wild rocket salad
Beer pairing: Stone & Wood Radler
A citrusy, easy-drinking ale to kick off the evening with a bright, refreshing start.

2. Charred pork pinchos with spinach and feta salad
Beer pairing: James Squire Orchard Crush Cider
Cloudy, crisp and lightly tart – perfectly matched with the smoky pork and creamy feta.

3. Albondigas con Gravy Criollo
Beer pairing: Stone & Wood Pacific Ale
Hazy, tropical and smooth – a juicy ale that lifts the rich flavours of this Spanish-style dish.

4. Chicken supreme glazed with creamy mushroom, beetroot hummus purée, golden chats and baby carrots
Beer pairing: Kirin Ichiban
A smooth and refined Japanese lager brewed with the First Press method – balanced and clean to complement the main.


🍋 Palate Cleanser – served before dessert
Kirin Hyoketsu Lemon
A zesty vodka-based RTD with natural lemon juice. Crisp, fresh, and the perfect reset before the final course.


5. Apple rhubarb cake with berry compote (GF, DF)
Beer pairing: Guinness Extra Stout
Roasty, bold, and bittersweet – a decadent pairing to wrap up the night.
