Our community has grown to over 30,000 members across all our channels and is dedicated to normalising flexible work, supporting career journeys, and advocating for greater equality at work.

About Our Founder

Flexible Working Scotland was founded by Lynn Houmdi in 2021.

Lynn Houmdi is Scotland's Flex Influencer, the co-Creator of Making Work Work and the founder of Flexible Working Scotland. Flexible Working Scotland is a community of 30,000 across Scotland looking to work flexibly, recruit flexibly and advocate for greater flexibility and equality at work. Lynn supports people to find and create work that fits around their life, not the other way around. Through events, resources and one-to-one support, Lynn helps job seekers, employees and employers understand the benefits of fair, flexible work and implement it so that work works for individuals, families, business and the broader economy.

Lynn's vision is that employees are judged on the results they deliver by working when, where, and how they can make their best contribution. This is better for them, better for their families, and better for business.
