Event description

Be among the first to experience The BIG Art Auction — an exclusive, brand-new fundraising event kicking off the Rangiora Art Society’s renowned Spring Exhibition, proudly supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Canterbury.

Why you won’t want to miss it:

  • First look & first pick – preview and purchase from over 700 original works by 70+ talented local artists before the public opening. Cash and carry format for easy shopping.

  • Live & silent auctions – bid on works generously donated by award-winning artists, with local auctioneer Nathan Gilbert of Harcourts Four Seasons Realty.

  • Host with the most – rugby league legend and Big Brothers Big Sisters Patron Frank Endacott will bring laughs and energy as your MC.

  • Meet the makers – mingle with artists including acclaimed North Canterbury painter Graham Williams, winner of Best Oil and People’s Choice.

  • Elegant ambience – dress to impress and enjoy drinks, canapés, live music, plus chances to win in our raffle and spot prizes.

  • Youth creativity – be inspired by beautiful works created by rangatahi in the Big Brothers Big Sisters programme.

Why Attend?

This isn’t just an art show — it’s a night to be part of something bigger. Your ticket directly supports vital youth mentoring that builds confidence, connection, and opportunity for local kids. Enjoy a glamorous evening while making a real difference in North Canterbury.
