THE BIG DRAG FUNDRAISER | ADELAIDE

THE BIG DRAG FUNDRAISER has been organised to raise funds for Cancer Council SA who are actively working to raise awareness, prevent and treat cancer for South Australians.

This fundraiser was initially planned to support Rach, who is a known icon of the Adelaide Arts community, and who was facing an incredibly tough battle with cancer. We tragically lost Rach to her battle with an aggressive Stage 4 Cancer. She was a light in this community, always holding space for artists, entertainers and the wider Adelaide Arts scene. We are holding this BIG DRAG FUNDRAISER to honour her legacy. Rachel's final wish from us was to send love, have a drink and dance the night away, so to honour her request, we have created a lineup of Adelaide's absolute best drag artists and DJ's who have all donated their time to raise funds for Cancer Council SA. We will dance, drink, and celebrate the life of someone so important to our community.

Rach was a pioneer for the Adelaide Arts community. Always uplifting us, platforming us, and holding space for our art to flourish. THE BIG DRAG FUNDRAISER will honour Rach and her legacy. All proceeds will be donated to Cancer Council SA in Rach’s name to support the research, prevention and treatment of cancer in South Australia.
