Description
There’s a big switch happening in the way we move around our cities and cities around the world. The switch from congested, carbon filled, dangerous streets to safer, less polluted streets that allow people the choice to ride or walk. It’s the switch from streets made for cars to streets made for people.
Importantly, it involves people like you to be part of this positive change, and flick The Big Switch.
Big Street Bikers, Sir Bob Harvey, Chairman of Big Street Bikers, and Mercury are thrilled to invite you to join Hon. Michael Wood, Minister of Transport to celebrate The Big Switch to support safer, healthier, carbon free streets across Aotearoa.
As a first spark in the Big Switch, Big Street Bikers and Mercury will be sharing details around the expansion of a nationwide network of Locky Docks — free public secure parking, charging and wayfinding stations for bikes, eBikes and eScooters.
